What is palmistry?

Palmistry or chiromancy or palm reading is a form of divination that involves reading the lines and other features on someone’s palm to predict their future. It is said that the practice originated in India, and has been used for centuries to foretell everything from a person’s health to their love life.

There are many different aspects of palmistry that can be read, including the shape of the hand, the lines on the palm, and the mounts or bumps on the hand. Each of these features can reveal different things about a person’s character and future. Those who practice chiromancy are generally called palmists, hand readers, hand analysts, or chirologists.

Some people believe that palmistry is a science, while others think it’s more of an art. However you look at it, though, palmistry is an interesting way to explore your future and learn more about yourself. If you’re curious about learning more about palmistry, there are plenty of books and online courses available on the subject. Or, if you’re feeling brave, you could always go for a palm reading with a professional palmist!

How to read palms?

There is no one right way to read palms, as each palm reader may interpret the lines and features differently. However, there are some general things that can be learned from reading someone’s palms.

The first thing to look at is the shape of the hand. There are three main types of hands – square, rectangular, and triangular. Square hands indicate strong willpower and determination, while rectangular hands represent creativity and practicality. Triangular hands represent intuition and creativity.

Next, look at the lines on the palm. The most important line is the lifeline, which indicates a person’s health and vitality. Other important lines include the headline (indicates mental abilities), heart line (shows emotional tendencies), and fate line (reveals a person’s destiny).

Finally, take note of the mounts or bumps on the palm. There are seven main mounts, each of which can reveal different aspects of a person’s personality. The mount of Jupiter, for example, indicates growth and expansion, while the mount of Saturn represents discipline and responsibility.
